Amelia Gwaltney is an actor living in NYC. Originally from Alabama, she had her heart set on living in NYC since 2nd grade when she decided to “produce” her first play… on her front porch for 200 people! Amelia spends a significant amount of time in the south, especially Atlanta where her family resides.
You can see her in the indie romantic comedy, Love...Reconsidered, in theaters February 2024, which made its way to Cannes Film Festival May 2023!!
Some of her favorite theatrical roles include Babe in Crimes of the Heart, Gayle/Hope in Almost, Maine, as well as an original one-person show: In Private: Margaret Sullavan.
Amelia has trained consistently in NYC for film, television, and theater working with such luminaries as Anthony Abeson, Tanya Berezin (Circle Repertory Theater founder), Patsy Rodenberg, and Jamie Carroll. She also completed a two-year conservatory at Michael Howard Studios.
You can usually find her with her four-legged partner-in-crime, Sadie the Australian Shepherd. She is an avid college football fan (Roll Tide) and loves water sports in the summer and skiing in the winter.
